Issue No. 011

Hello and welcome to Beyond the Paint, a blog by Bio Seaweed Gel (BSG).
Each Wednesday we will be releasing new content that will discuss all things nails and more.

All About BSG's Dip Powder System

What is Bio Seaweed Gel’s 2-in-1 Dip Powder?

Dip Powder is an alternative system to gel and acrylic that provides superior strength & resistance to chipping and is ideal for those who have very weak and brittle nails. Our Dip Powder system does not require UV/LED light to cure as it is an air-dry product and the process of achieving of Dip Powder nails is as simple as dipping your fingers into finely-milled powder, tapping off excess, applying clear Dip Liquids and allowing it to air dry! The process is simple and quick compared to doing gel polish nails, plus you get added bonuses of:

✓ Long lasting dip powder manicure that looks like gel polish
✓ 2+ weeks of wear and superior strength
✓ Not worrying about painting colour over your skin

Below is a video demonstrating how to achieve a dip powder manicure using BSG’s 2-in-1 Dip Powder system. Dip Powder can be applied over your natural nails or over artificial extensions. You may also use our 2-in-1 Dip Powder to achieve traditional acrylic nails with your choice of liquid monomer.

If you would like to get started on dipping at home, we have the perfect Dip Powder Starter Kit that contains all the essentials for achieving dip powder nails. In addition, there is currently an ongoing Buy 1, Get 2 Free promotion on all Dip Powder Colours. We have over 124 colours to choose from, inspired by our 3STEP Gel Polish line and below are just a few of our favourite looks to inspire you!

I have tried the dip powder on clients multiple times and am finding that they are very soft and break very easily. It’s very frustrating as I want to love the dip powders since they are so finely milled and don’t apply very thick but it’s ridiculous that my clients and my nails don’t last for more than 3-5 days.

I’ve been intrigued by dip powder for over a year now but have only stuck with gel polish so far. The results really look gorgeous though, so I may have to give it a try sometime soon!

I have had dip powder before but have never done it myself. I do want to try it but if I like it and it is being discontinued then I am not sure what I would do.

I haven’t tried dip yet. I gravitate more towards gel and painted art.

I haven’t dried dip powder yet. I’m a little scared to make a mess lol, but maybe I’ll try it out. It looks really nice and I love that it looks like gel.
